The only thing one can feel while flying 500-600 meter altitude is peace, freedom and tranquillity as the earth slowly descends and rotates below you. Most balloonists enjoy low level flight. The typical balloon flight would be anywhere from tree level to about 1.800 meters (6.000 feet) above the ground. Where we fly is completely governed by the wind speed and direction. A typical an hour flight can carry us up to 5 kilometre and sometimes it can be more, sometimes less. It is like a dream to gently float over the countryside in complete harmony with your surroundings. The deep canyons and lush fertile valleys of Cappadocia provide our balloons with an ideal playground for a unique and memorable flight; gentle winds carry us over places that could never be reached except by balloon. We select our take-off sites daily according to the wind direction to ensure the maximum flight time and the most interesting flight path: with no engine or steering in a hot air balloon, there is no pre-determined route so every flight is different. Once back on the ground our passengers are treated to our special sparkling champagne cocktail ceremony upon landing by our crew.
