By the time being, the hotel has 51 rooms. Most of the rooms have private terraces, gardens or yards. These features are the primary reasons especially for the preference of our VIP guests. HISTORY

Now the heart of “argos in Cappadocia”, this space has been the spiritual home of monks, a lodging house for camel-driven Silk Road caravans and, until a century ago, a facility producing linseed oil.

Moreover, there is a meticulous work in terms of interior decoration. Keeping the local values alive is a very important priority for us. Traditional designs are being used together with the contemporary architectural approaches in a much harmonized manner. The rooms are dominantly decorated with local antiques, subterranean pieces gathered from Anatolia, and local antiques, rugs, carpets and subterrenean pieces gathered from Anatolia. The furniture in most of the rooms are handmade by the carpenters, stone and iron masters of the hotel. FROM VINE TO WINEGLASS

The “Kalecik Karası”, “Şiraz” and “Misket” grapes lovingly tended in the hotel’s vineyards, some of which are integrated into the garden landscaping of argos in Cappadocia, are presented to the guests as fine local wines that delight the five senses and more. Vineyards and wineries are once again flourishing in their original homeland, and the glasses are raised in joyous celebration.

FOOD & BEVERAGE

Argos in Cappadocia is a boutique hotel that has been honored with global awards for the wines produced from its very own vineyards. The awarded wines are serviced with the matching dishes in Seki Restaurant. It has been selected among the ‘Best 10 Wine Hotels of the World’ by the prestigious Departures.com. Again, Seki Restaurant-Lounge & Cellar holds the Excellency Awards of 2015 and 2014 from Wine Spectator. The restaurant offers the guests local tastes in different approaches with modern cooking techniques. In Seki Restaurant with 100 guest capacity, the dishes are flavored with the home grown organic herbs. The golden medal winner Syrah and Kalecik Karası wines accompany the meals. Among the local dishes served in Seki, beef cheek cooked with special methods is widely preferred by the guests. The success of the dish is partly owed to our local butcher who breeds the stock for the restaurant. This July, Jordi Roca was one of the guests. He is one of the chefs in El Celler de Can Roca which was selected as the best restaurant in the world. He also liked the beef cheek very much. He found the harmony of cracked wheat, one of the main nutritional sources in Anatolia, with the beef cheek. He thinks serving these beautiful local dishes to foreign guests plays an important role in the promotion of the destination itself.

SEKI RESTAURANT

Seki Cellar is one of the most favored places within argos in Cappadocia and it is the reason of preference of the wine lover guests. The cellars are made up of underground tunnels and galleries dating back to thousands years before. You may think of even just being here as a unique experience. The hotel also organizes tours to the vineyards depending on the season. Yet these old cellars holding carefully selected world wines as well as sweet wine selections such as Sauternes and Tokajs are visited by the guests whenever they like. They can have the privilege of choosing their wine for the night’s dinner and join wine tasting tours in a mystical setting. The hotel also organizes special wine tastings for couples and groups.

BEZIRHANE

Bezirhane is another much admired historical setting in argos in Cappadocia. This space has been the spiritual home of monks, a lodging house for Silk Road caravans and until a century ago, a facility to produce linseed oil.
